I WANNA TALK ABOUT NOKIA 5800

Don’t you just love the idea of shaking a soda can, opening it up and letting the fountain of frizzled bubbly liquid shoot out? Now, you can – virtually – with Zensis’ “Shake It“ game for the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic Phone. The ”Shake It“ game uses the Nokia 5800’s built-in accelerometer sensor which reacts depending on the movement and angle of the phone.

When you launching this fun and free game, you are welcome with a dancing animated “Shake It!” title complete with music. On the main screen, there are three choices – Start, Awards and Sounds On/Off. The Sounds On/Off lets you keep the music being from being played or not. For the Awards link, I will talk about that later.

Just choose “Start” and the game initiates.

The screen shows a soda can with the word “Shake!” and an explosion graphic while an empty bar is found at the right side.

“Shake It” is a very simple game to play: Just shake the Nokia 5800 Xpressmusic phone! Yes. Shake it! You will even hear a “shaking sound” and feel vibration. When you do this, the empty bar at the right side of the screen fills up. The faster you shake, the quicker the bar fills up. Once it is full, “Fizz!” and “Pop!” graphics appear together with a “fizzing” sound. Game over. Check your time. See if you have the “Best Time” or the “Fastest Time” on record.

The game will give you an award. Go to the “Awards” link found in the main menu. You will be shown a gallery of rewards placed in a soda vending machine. You can use some of these awards to be your Nokia 5800 XpressMusic phone’s wallpaper.

Choose the item and the application will inquire if you want to use it as a wallpaper. There are about 30 items you need to collect.

“Shake It” can be played solo or with your friends. Getting the fastest time possible.

Reminder: Make sure that you wear the strap that comes with the phone around your wrist to keep the phone from accidentally dropping or flying off your hands during the game. Keep a safe distance between you and your friends while playing to avoid accidents.
