Camera that takes hi-res photos and HD video now in the market

JVC just unveiled its new gadget for both photo enthusiasts and videographers. From the way it looks, it hopes to capture both the photo and video market. This hybrid can be the best of both worlds for consumers.

This hybrid camera is capable of shooting 12-megapixel stills and full HD (1920 x 1080) and it can they do both simultaneously. The GC-PX10 is capable of shooting 8 while recording full HD video at the same time! The JVC GC-PX10 uses JVC’s FALCONBIRD high speed imaging engine that is found on the JVC Full HD 3D camcorder, the GS-TD1.

Features like optical images stabilization, 10X optical zoom (19X Dynamic Zoom with no image degration), KONICA MINOLTA HD LENS, a mode for auto and manual settings, microphone output and headphone input, 32GB of internal memory, an SDXC/SDHC card slot, a tiltable 3″ touch panel display, HDMI output, and bundled LoiLoScope FX software for Windows is icing on top of the cake.

It also packs a 1/2.3″ 12.75 megapixel back-illuminated CMOS sensor. The camera can shoot at ISO6400 for increased sensitivity shooting in the dark, and can even fire out 8.3-megapixel stills at a rapid fire rate of 60 shots-per-second (up to 130 shots per burst) or 12-megapixel stills at 30 shots-per-second with 2 hours straight battery.

The JVC GC-PX10 hybrid camera sure offers a lot of folks who are into shooting videos and tons of images to capture motion. It will be available later this month for $899.95. Looks like this could be on your Christmas list soon.

American Soldier speaks Perfect Visayan

Just when you thought you have seen everything, then you get this video.

Apparently, an American solider was taken in this video speaking another language. It was not English. It was VISAYAN. Visayan is a native language of the people of Visayas, one of the three major parts of the Philippines. And what was so surprising was that this American soldier was speaking perfect FLUENT Visayan.
